A short film on the prompt “utopia” from back in Fall ‘09. I think this is my favorite thing I’ve ever made. I’m happy with the simplicity of the concept, and sharing the experience of making this with my friends was amazing. I’m not sure how it ties in with the rest of my work, but I’m hopeful that I’ll have a chance to do video work like this again.

An image sequence project on the prompt “home” from back in Fall ‘09.
Working in 3D is very freeing for me - I think it forces me to stop trying to control everything. If that’s a problem for you, I’d highly recommend it. Although this could communicate its narrative more clearly, I’m very pleased with the aesthetic and I’d like to explore this direction further.
